A fitness revolution in your workplace
Volution is an app with the aim to help those interested in fitness find their perfect match. Already garnering interest from leading gym chains in the UK and beyond, it is a revolutionary concept that pairs individuals with personal trainers (PTs) according to specific needs and specialisms.
With a proven track record working with sports and wellbeing organisations, as well as launching start-ups, Banbury Howard was ready to jump in and kick-start Volution’s marketing activity.
Our brief was to create a go-to-market campaign that would encourage three distinct targets to download the app on its launch in July. We created a comprehensive plan including branding, PR and digital marketing.
As part of this, we created an eye-catching video – introduction to Volution. With its punchy script and dynamic soundtrack, it has proven a great door opener. As a result, a number of national gym chains are already signed up and ready to go.
We’ve also been busy with the app’s exciting sister project, Volution Boardroom. Its mission: to offer employers a means to increase the health of their teams. By delivering quality onsite fitness training at the client’s own site, Volution Boardroom provides a smart and effective alternative to corporate gym membership, and, in turn, can help increase overall wellness, attendance and productivity.
Primarily B2B, the campaign has incorporated direct marketing, print communications, merchandise and PR. To appeal to time-poor management teams, we developed an introduction pack that the Volution business development team could leave behind at meetings. The pack featured Volution’s striking indigo branding, along with sharp and smart copy to clearly state the benefits of getting involved.
Buy-in to the campaign has also been gained from leading brands in the fitness industry, Myprotein, and not for profit organisation, ukactive. So, by way of incentivising business management teams to book a meeting, we offered some very compelling calls to action in the form of a box of tasty Myprotein muffins with a fantastic goody bag for all participating employees – containing a Volution branded t-shirt and packed with Myprotein products.
At the time of writing, the Volution Boardroom team is already working with a number of large companies to develop a better fitness offering for their employees, including Zurich Insurance, Zuto and Shoosmiths, as well as receiving tremendous interest from many other retail and professional services businesses.
